I'd never caught any carp before, my lines always snap catching carps. I uses a 4 lb test rod with 2 lb lines. IT really testes my skill, and the carps around here standard size would be 15 lb+, they grow so fucking fast.

There are are standard inches size limit for freshwater largemouth / small mouth bass depending on which lakes you go to. But the local lakes around L.A, standard is 16, can't take anything bigger than 22. Some lakes standards are 18 or 22, but they are more north or south in the region, like wild lakes and very remote areas specially intended for bass fishing.

But i don't think hong kong have a fisheries department that stock the pond or lake regularly with fish do they? I only know they have "Pay to fish" places around, it would be too much to ask for the government (for this type of sport) hahaha. Main fishing here in Calif are bass, the chinese carps are over breeds in eastern locations such as louisiana, Mississippi, michigan,.... basically all around that region. The U.S has been having so much issues dealing with those bad boys, people are actually going out there to kill them, without even taking them home for dinners. They re-introduced bow fishing ~ watch this video!!!

Hong Kong Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department stock fish in government pond, and release at the reservoir.
However, illegal net fishing at the reservoir is a problem...No park ranger around here....

It is delporable that Chinese carp is despised in US.HK people are glad of catching a carp regardless of the size....

Omg NO PARK RANGERS WHAT THE FUCK! what kind of fisheries does the government stock in the ponds and lakes? *i don't know why would anyone catches KOI fish from those ponds, do people abandon their pets there? I know that years back, they found alligator fish in some ponds in kowloons or new territory.......

Yeah, so do you hongkongers eat the carps or use them as pets?
