USA CALIFORNIA TROUTS 釣旅！puddingstone res.

This was back in February or January, don't remember... But I caught the daily limit within 30 minutes in Puddingstonreservoir(the limit is currently set at 5 in southern california)

They don't taste too bad, 好味! but too be honest, its too much bones... Catfish would taste whole lot better! (not the right season)

1. Thanks for commenting about the lake, it is beautiful and has around 2500+ acres. (prolly 4th biggest in southern california)
2. but anyway You could try to catch more than 5 trouts, but if those regulation officers that patrol around the lake catches you, $1200 USD ticket.
3. there are other species of fish in the lake you could still catch, like bass, catfish or chinese carps.
4. You could continue fishing and have a collection of 5 trouts, 5 carps, 10 catfish and 2 bass (those are the max limit that i have listed)
5. The fishing in lakes here could get boring, most of fish are stocked by the government fisheries department. SO I THINK HONG KONG FRESHWATER LAKES ARE BETTER <3

sorry i really didn't answer your question.
But you could keep fishing as along as you want if you don't take more than 5. But those regulation officers are bitches!, they keep questioning you like shit if you look suspicious.
Normally, we get enough fish, its over for the day.

Is there size limit as well?
I remember Bass is 18 inch few years ago....

The officers are damn annoying;still, they may help to keep a sustainable fishing environment. I really hope that similar regulations will be introduced to HK in the future~

BTW giant Chinese carp(>1m)  seem  quite common in US , have u ever caught before?
