Tarpon toads

Hi Guys

After the other week I have been on a Tarpon quest on the computer. Surfing all web sites looking for info and tips to get the most out off these little Tarpon.

The Toad fly comes up alot when searching so I tied a few Toads and X-Toads. These are on #4 hooks and should be just the trick for our little friends. Fished with a Fluro carbon leader these should sit just under the surface and suspend right in front of there faces.

Hi..! It look like work well  but if you put some power liquid with it  that well easy to catch the fish's well

adding scent to a fly is not a fly fishing purist would do...
it's a big topic of debate in lure and flies

The eyes are just burnt 100lb mono painted black. So it will float if you want but with a fluro leader it SHOULD sit just under the surface.

Scents, lets not go there.

Ando, Nice toads there. Do you tie in the foam strips by strips on the hook shank?

Yeah trouty tie in each colour with a X wrap just like you would for the eyes. Just dont pull to tight as you will cut the foam.
