King Kong

Today went fishing with pasusu at a new spot.  Caught this red drum which made my new record for 前 打 (but not breams )...big thanks to pasusu being the greatest fishing buddy.  Helped me to scoop the fish and also took pics and movie for me ....not to mention he is sick today as well....

Very powerful I guess played for more than 5 minutes...A "king kong" for me now hopefully will become a small monkey for me some day (i.e...to catch something bigger.... )

But one trade off is that I lost a small gear bag with line and hooks worth more than $200 inside...I am not sure if the bottom-fishing guy near us or the fish dock workers took it....

I am so stupid...I just found the gear bag deep inside my back pack...
I feel much better now as the bottom-fishing guy near us was so nice.  My fish lock rope was getting stuck with the ship when the ship dock guys starting working.  Then they need to cut the rope to get back the fish to me.  The bottom-fishing guy even wanted to offer me his brand new fish lock, saying that it was his fault as he couldn't take care the fish for me.  Feel regretful for suspecting that it was he taking my bag...

He is the voice in the movie clip asking if we need help as he thought my net handle is just 1 feet long...big thanks to him!

And big thanks to pasusu for walking back and forth two times with me to find my bag...

My fishing skill still need much improvement you guys can see I fought the fish like a newbie....

Aiiiii  Really need a lot of improvement to fight big fish!  Easy lossing

But as a matter of fact I was trying to maintain the rod at best angle but wasn't easy to do so as the fish pulled so hard...

Not all fortunately...
