Sea Bass on fly= lots of time and hard work.

We have had them hit the fly but Im yet to hook up. Have caught heaps on lures and one thing is the 90% of them are hooked on the outside of there head. They are only hitting the lure and not eating. This has been the same with fly, they will hit the fly but with only one hook its hard to get a hook up.

Will keep trying but its hard to pick up a fly rod when you know you can catch one on spin.

    yes ando. What do you think if we switch using tube fly? I insist to take one on fly that's why i dun do spin on them anymore.. haha...

What are you thinking of in the way of a tube fly. I have had them hit Pink things so maybe a pick thing tube fly with the hook set back in the fly. Or tow hooks set up like we used on Sails. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM you have got me thinking now.

I mean we could use a treble hook on a tube fly? set it a few inches back from the regular position.

I had two strikes occurs once they flies hitted the water. They were always in a group prey on mullet.
