if you're fishing in the states or canada, why not order a blank from g loomis or st croix and get a rod builder to do a custom rod for you? it won't cost more than HK$2000 for a mid-range blank and simple add-ons. you can even add counter balance weights to the butt to make it a perfect match for your reel.

i have a 7' st croix custom with 6+1 fuji titanium guides, custom colour wrap and fuji/matagi split grips... $1500 ja ma
