leader double 40 pounds MAY be safer than 80 single

Hi..! But if you are using double leader for fishing. Would you cast easy or not? and why not just use the best ultra-thin sinking braid and use the large diameter one that even is the same, because some of the fishing braid are very thin but it more strong then normal one and once you use a double leader for fishing, do you know the knot you tied move onto the line or hook  that will reduce by half of the power. Eg.   80lbs braid leader- one hook - the knot you gets 40lbs breaking strength.    2X 40lbs Braid leader tied on the same leader - one hook-  the knot on each will be 20lbs. and you will get 40lds.  So that will not add move power to you hook lenght

if i  forget to bring 80 pound leader, i may use leader  double 40 pounds. cast is ok.

Hi..! I just want to tell you is not the size of the braid, the important is the knot. If you are worry how strong the braid you use, that you do not tied any knot on you hook length and have you ever see the big boat anchor that they don't have tied and knot at all . so that it well get all the power from the braid, Some of the braid are use about 2 or 3 more strength to twist it together to make a braid . so want to tire the braid on the hook next time do put small rig tube together with it, it protect the braid form the hook ring to damage the braid. try to see the deep sea jigging hook lenght.
