Maeuchi reel [Daiwa S100 or PROX 72]

Due to the fantastic feeling of catching fish by Maeuchi style, I have decided to order a Maeuchi reel from Japan. And my budget is no more than 10,000 YEN. I have done some research about Maeuchi reels last few days, and ended up with two choices, Daiwa S100 and PROX 72.

So, could anyone tell me which one is more suitable for a super beginner? and, is there anyone using either of these, and give me some comment about these reels?

My Choice is PROX72 (disadvantage: pointed edge and no wing guard more of a hechi reel)  Suggest to have line from above.

S100 has wing guard and keep the line inside the reel.  Line can be normal from below.

so what's the function of wind guard?
is it for keeping the line inside the reel, and prevent the line blow off by wind ?

I may wait until the AUS dollars rise again. Last time, I ordered rod from Japan when the currency was 1 AUS to 100 YEN, that really saved me a bit

Should be wing guard!  To keep the line within the reel w/o drifting off
