前打 or "Drift-sink fishing", I so called, uses Gama前打蟹仔鉤 #4 is considered a bit big from a personal stand point but this really depends on what size of bait used. I tended to use smaller hook with crabs!
The philosophy of "Drift-sink fishing" is not luring the fish with an active bait movements yet it simulates the bait shirmp/crab/fish/barnacle ... in a natural drifting / sinking state which allows the target fish to snatch on their feeding path! Light jerk of bait in natural form will apply to live shrimps and live bait-fishes! Hope this clarifies !! ^^
