小魔怪出世la!

今次去SF, 見d flies 甘靚特然有個衝動想學make flies. 衝動gae 後果? 咪係破財..買左好多ng知等ng等洗gae materials... 之後製做左d小魔怪lor.... 頭一胎k型... 第兩胎好小小, 第3胎finally 好樣d la!雖然初學亂來一通,  但make flies 真係好好玩!! 雖然弄得不及前輩們做的精美, 亦想在此分享一下我gae 喜悅! 雖然每完成一隻都發覺好多做得不好的地方, 但好有成功感ah!!

無買釣具ah! 見有好多,但ng識ng想買住, 但就買左好多d 乜毛物毛用來make fly. 計過數, 先make flies, 出年買rod +reel 再用自己d flies 去 fishing!!

Usually people start fishing first than learn to tie flies. You'r doing it the other way round. ha ha.........!

Thanks  i do have the tendency of doing things the other way round, different from what most people do. I guess it is just a habbit i cannot break

I am trying to fit in more fishing related activities in my life as much as possible. so when i have nothing really serious to do at night, making flies seems to be the perfect activity! All i need is material, guide book and photos of flies i could copy! But i am sure the flies i make now are probably not good to use since I do not know what quality is needed to make a good fly -- a sense i will always lack until i actually learn the sport. But hopefully, after spending some time making flies, i will learn the basic flies making skill. it is really fun! and I am loving it !!

Fly tying is an art........ there are no words to express your joy the minute the fish take the fly you've tied, especially when it's your own combination of colours and pattern. There are thousands of different fly patterns around. Many a time the traditional fly patterns can't beat your own invention in attracting the targeted fish.
