Somehow it is all luck and coincident.  I was planning to go Friday but suddenly got bound by some urgent company work and have to postpone till Saturday.  Maybe if I went on Friday the result would be much worse.

Actually yesterday the fish didn't test the bait at all and they ate very much like "red oil" and grouper fish.  It is actually a bit shameful that I didn't catch them with my very limited skill.

I wish I will catch a trophy size fish like yours....

Not kidding,
It require both skill and luck to catch that many like you did yesterday!
I am just a beginner, still learning from other C brothers
I need more training, but lack of energy

My fish before was just pure luck man!

By the way, use a softer rod brings you more fun
if you are not going to places like ten thousand legs,
fish has no where to hide after hit.
Soft rod can still fight monster at sea wall
a fun fight too

For sure    But be aware of the piers, 亞多哥 told me there were some monster size there.  The poles there are covered with shells...

You are right!
I was standing on the slop at the pier
I had one bite that it tested the shrimp for so long,
then it pull, let go, pull, let go
and i gave it a little more lines
and it pull my rod so hard and fast suddenly
my rod went down to drink water
I couldn't react to that quick enough and missed it

Too bad man...that pier is full of surprise.  I caught quite a few bigger than palm size there and they sure fight very hard, only that they didn't really test the bait but just bite on hard.

I guess the one you missed must be a big one as your rod drank waterr (from my experience those bigger than palm size can't do that)... ...
