Hi Ando,

For the situation in HK, what will the rod wt you recommand for

inshore saltwater targeting Sea Breams (max 2kg), Snooks and

Drums (approx 60-70cm) ?

A 4 or 6wt would be where I would start looking. I use a 4wt most of the time for Tarpon and the likes but I think a 6wt would be more user friendly for other species where you need larger flys.

Hi Ando,

The rod I'm now using is a Berkerly Cherrywood 7-8 wt.

Thanks for you advise, now I get a better picture of what to look for in the future.
